Privacy Policy — Muhammad Al Faqih Full Quran

Effective: 2026-10-20. This policy covers the iPhone and iPad app Muhammad Al Faqih Full Quran (App Store, bundle com.quranmp3.muhammad.alfaqeeh). Un résumé en français se trouve à la fin.

No account

The app does not ask for an account, name, email address or phone number. Reading and listening to the Quran is free for everyone.

Data that stays on your device

Bookmarks, notes and tags, reading position, Khatmah plans, Hifz progress, downloaded recitations, prayer-time settings and all preferences are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.

Location for prayer times and Qibla

If you turn on prayer times or open the Qibla compass, the app asks for location permission. Your location is used on the device to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. Coordinates are rounded to about 1 km and never sent to us or anyone else.

Notifications

Prayer-time and reading reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No data is sent to schedule them.

Advertising and tracking

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Ads never appear while you read or listen to the Quran.

• Your choice first. In regions where it is required (for example the EEA and UK), Google's consent form asks for your consent before any ad loads. On iPhone and iPad, iOS then shows the App Tracking Transparency prompt, before any ad request is made.
• If you allow tracking, AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and app activity to show more relevant ads and to measure them.
• If you ask the app not to track (or tracking is restricted), the IDFA is not available and every ad is requested as non-personalised. The app works exactly the same.
• AdMob receives device and usage information such as IP address, device model, OS version and ad interactions, to deliver ads, limit how often they repeat and prevent fraud. See How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
• You can change your choice at any time: iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and (where shown) the Privacy Options entry in the app's Settings.
• Premium removes all ads.

Analytics and crash reports

The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which features help (for example opening a Surah or starting a recitation) and Firebase Crashlytics to fix crashes. They receive a random app-instance identifier, device model, OS and app version, country, in-app events and crash details. This data is not linked to your identity.

Purchases

Premium is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Payment is handled by Apple; we never see your payment details. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user id and your purchase receipts so Premium can be checked and restored.

Recitations and tafsir

Streaming audio comes from mp3quran.net, everyayah.com and Amazon S3, and Kemenag tafsir text from equran.id. Like any website, these servers see your IP address in order to send the file. No other data is sent to them.

Children

The app is for a general audience and is not directed at children.

Your rights and contact

Because we hold no account data, most data can be removed by deleting the app. For questions or requests about data held by Google or RevenueCat on our behalf, contact arifinazisdev@gmail.com.

Changes

We will update this page, with its effective date, whenever the app's data practices change.
