Effective date: 2026-10-05. This policy applies to the FotoJadul: Vintage Photo AI application for iPhone and iPad (App Store, bundle com.halimbox.fotojadulai) and for Android (package com.halimbox.fotojadulai).
FotoJadul: Vintage Photo AI stores your generated results, your creation history, your settings and an anonymous installation identifier locally on your device. Creating a vintage result, however, requires processing on our server: see "Photos You Upload For Processing" and "AI Processing & Retention" below. We never ask for an account, a name, an email address or a phone number.
The app connects to the internet to download remote configuration and content updates.
The app checks your connection state to decide when to refresh remote content.
When you tap the button to generate a result, the photo you selected is uploaded over HTTPS to our processing service and forwarded to the AI image provider that creates the result. The upload only happens after that explicit action — browsing or previewing a photo never uploads anything.
The app uses the camera only for the feature you actively invoke; images are processed on-device.
We ask for your explicit permission first. Before the first photo is ever uploaded, the app shows a screen explaining what is sent, to whom and for how long, and nothing is uploaded unless you tap Agree & continue. You can withdraw that permission at any time under Settings → Privacy; the app will then ask again before sending another photo.
When you tap the create or restore button, the app resizes and compresses the photo you selected on your device and uploads that copy over HTTPS to our processing service, together with the style you chose and an anonymous installation identifier. The service forwards the image to a third-party AI image provider (Google Gemini), which returns the vintage version.
Retention: the uploaded original is processed in memory by our service and is not intentionally written to permanent storage; it is discarded as soon as the result has been produced. The generated result is held in temporary server-side storage for at most one hour (a fixed time-to-live) so your phone can download it, and is then deleted automatically. The copy you keep long-term lives on your device only, and only if you choose to save it to your gallery.
The third-party AI provider processes your photo under its own terms and retention policy. We cannot guarantee on its behalf that your image is never stored. The provider currently in use, Google (Gemini API), is also named in the app's permission screen. We do not use your photos to train our own models.
The app offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions and one-time consumable AI-credit packs. On iPhone and iPad, purchases are processed by Apple's App Store; on Android, by Google Play Billing. Purchases are managed on our behalf by RevenueCat, a subscription-management platform, which receives the store's purchase receipt or token, product identifiers, and the anonymous installation identifier in order to activate your credits and keep your entitlement in sync. We never receive your card number or other payment details; those are handled entirely by Apple or Google.

The app does not perform face recognition, identity lookup, biometric profiling, or demographic inference of any kind. Your photo is used only to produce the vintage image you asked for. We do not sell your photos and do not use them to train models of our own.
In addition to Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics (see "Analytics & Crash Reporting" below), the app uses Firebase Performance Monitoring to measure app startup time, screen rendering, and network request latency, and Firebase Remote Config to safely deliver configuration such as active styles, quota limits, and emergency kill switches without an app update. Neither of these collects the content of your photos or your generated results.
Use Hapus Semua Riwayat in Settings to erase every generated result and all history stored in the app. Deleting the app (iOS) or uninstalling it / using "Clear storage" (Android) removes everything the app has stored locally, including the anonymous installation identifier. Server-side copies expire automatically as described above; there is nothing left for us to delete on request, because we do not keep an account for you. Subscriptions and purchase history are managed by the store you bought from: manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings (App Store) or in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.
AI-generated results are stylistic reinterpretations and may vary between attempts; we do not guarantee historical accuracy, resemblance, or that a specific style or output quality will be achieved. Generation depends on our service and third-party AI provider being available, and may occasionally fail or be delayed.
Each generation consumes one AI credit from your intro free generation, rewarded-ad credit, subscription-included credit, or purchased credit pack, as applicable, at the time the request succeeds. Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown at purchase until cancelled, and include a fixed number of AI credits refreshed each billing period (unused credits do not accumulate beyond one period). Where offered on your platform, a one-time Lifetime purchase grants a single upfront batch of AI credits (currently 60) and permanent removal of subscription paywalls — Lifetime does not mean unlimited AI processing; once its included credits are used, generating more requires watching a rewarded ad, a subscription, or a credit pack, the same as any other user. Consumable credit packs are one-time, non-renewing additions to your credit balance.
Purchases are billed and refunded according to the policies of the store you bought from (Apple App Store or Google Play); we do not process refunds directly. Request refunds from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or from Google Play Support.
On iPhone and iPad, the app may ask for permission to track through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt so that AdMob can show more relevant ads. If you decline, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is not accessed and ads are non-personalised. Subscribers who are ad-free are never asked. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
FotoJadul: Vintage Photo AI shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process your device's advertising ID, IP address, and coarse usage signals to serve and measure ads. Where required (EEA/UK), a consent dialog (Google UMP) is shown before any ad is loaded, and you can change your choice at any time from the app's settings.

FotoJadul: Vintage Photo AI uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the app is used and to fix crashes. These SDKs collect a pseudonymous app-instance identifier, device model, operating system version, app version, country/region, in-app events (for example: which screen you opened, or that a calculation was completed), and — when the app crashes — the technical stack trace and device state at that moment.
This data is not used to identify you personally, is never sold, and the content you create inside the app (your entries, measurements, notes and settings) is never included in it. Where required (EEA/UK), collection follows the consent choice you make in the app's consent dialog, which you can change at any time from the app's settings.

Use Hapus Semua Riwayat / Clear All History in Settings to erase every result stored in the app. Deleting the app (iOS) or uninstalling it / using "Clear storage" (Android) permanently removes all locally stored data, including the anonymous installation identifier. The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
